In this thread it appears the pump is turned off when the acid is added. Is this correct? My understanding is the acid is heavier than water and should be circulated throughout the process. With no heater shouldn’t the pump be fine to circulate 5 gallons of acid in a 14k gallon pool?

Curious if you’d decided to move forward with the process and how it turned out?

TF100 and yes however with Florida heat a majority of the year there is evaporation and an auto fill in addition to when it rains which is a lot and auto drain.

did you get the photos? I haven’t tried a puck on it but I did use the jacks magic test kit and it reacted and removed the sand like material instantly with their stain/scale remover.
