    The original plan was to pour washed aggregate concrete around the coping but may switch to travertine pavers. Should I have this coping removed and have it done with a concrete collar and rebar- the proper way or will this hold up? I'm worried about moisture and how the wood will hold up over...

    Any builders care to comment on this type of construction for pool coping? The builder is using stainless mesh on top of treated 2x4s as the base for the travertine pavers. Concrete is going underneath and around the 2x4s but I’m not sure how this is going to hold up over the long haul. Why...
