I'm not at home now, but I believe it's 60 sq ft. Calls for 9lbs DE. I think the pool is about 24,000 gallons. Sound about right?

It did not happen today when the pump kicked on. I'm assuming its something that occurs after backwashing and adding the DE. Either that or all my DE was pushed into the pool. Im assuming if that were the case the DE would settle on the bottom and be visible? My filter holds 10 lbs of DE

It happened after I backwashed and added DE again. I have a multi-port valve. I am not very familiar with this type of valve. I was running for a few minutes on recirc. I thought that on recirc it just bypassed the filter??? Could that have something to do with my issue?

There's not enough to scoop. Just a quick gray cloud out of the jets when the pump first kicks on......

Just moved to a new house with a pool. Iv'e noticed when the pump first turns on it appears that a blast of De comes out of the jets. It only happens at start-up for a few seconds and then stops? Im assuming its DE. If there were a rip in the filter wouldn't it spray DE all the time when running???

Still waiting for my Pb to come back and install the tile on my viking inground. Had a salesman here today for cover estimate and said he's never seen a fiberglass pool that the tiles did not come off of. Anyone have any experience with this??

Love my new pool (viking 16x35 fiberglass) and now it's time to close for the winter. Investigating safety cover installs. My Pb wants $2400 to install a cover. Is that reasonable? Seems like a lot.

Thanks for the info- I'm now wondering if I should just request either rebar or mesh. Will I gain strength/reduce cracks if I pay extra for that?

My mason said he's using "4,000 lb. cement" Is that particularly strong for concrete??

Need some help with anyone with masonry experience. Having our stamped concrete poured in a few days. The mason put rebar down, but only within 3-4 feet from the pool. Should the rebar be everywhere concrete will be? He says he's using a fiber additive. I'm thinking we should also have rebar...

PB suggested a dolphin robot for our fiberglass 16x35 pool. Said it was the best. Any thoughts? (he's not selling the item to us, just suggested it)
