What do you mean by release pressure on the hose tightener? The outside screw part?

Not sure, it came with a house we bought. The inlets do not screw off at all. I have the screw on adaptor for the hose and a piece that looks like the black part.

Yes, we have the graphite panel Intex pool. My inlets don't screw off and I can't figure out how to plug the other intake.

Hi there, I am desperately trying to get my pool open and ready. I have skimmed and leaf raked all feasible debris but have a fine coating of algae on the bottom that needs vacuumed. I've bought the Intex deluxe maintenance kit but cannot figure out how to hook it up properly or get any suction...

Still waiting! Gonna head to stock up on some supplies tomorrow. I'm anxious to see what the liner looks like, I was terrified it would be caked in algae.

Pool is slowly clearing.. quite an improvement from where we started!!

Replaced the sand and did SLAM tonight. Still waiting for my test kit to arrive so kind of flying a bit blind. Return jet into pool is still not as strong as when pool is in recirculation but seems to be consistent now.

Planning on replacing the sand this week. Any tips on how to do it? I've seen most people use a shop vac.

This is a photo of my pool if size can be judged based off it.
