I also feel like every recommendation for removing calcium build up is to use a muratic acid mixture on here so just really shocked to see it do this kind of damage

So some of the holes are places I’ve rarely used muratic acid on. But yes I’m definitely going to stop using it

Thanks. After doing some research I think me spraying acid mixture on the waterline tile near these stones(over spray on them) may have caused the issue as some new spots are popping up.
