    I assume so. It's operated through the pentair control panel and has its own breaker and when I trip this GFCI outlet. The lights all go out.

    So I wound up ordering this 120vac to 12vac 60watt led driver from Amazon for $22. Was able to solder it between with 120v supply barely sticking out of the epoxy resin and the board and it's working. Is this dangerous in anyway?     The person that told me to check it before ordering the board was actually with Florida sun seeker. I'll try them again. Pentair is closed for the holiday and my pool guy doesn't know the specifics on the internals of the light.

    I thought I read that entire post but couldn't find the specific info I was looking for. Do you think that is what failed? I'm not sure if I'm testing it correctly or not. Definitely shows 11.5v when grounding to the can on each lead. But zero volts testing directly to both leads.
