I live in the Los Angeles area. I tried to restock liquid chlorine at Walmart with my normal pick up order online, it says it won't ship to me. I try Lowe's website. Their Kem-Tem 2 pack that I've bought before now says there is a state ban!? What is going on??? Please help

I have to admit I have been looking at Rectecs for the past week because of this thread. I've been wanting a gas Weber to compliment my Kamado Joe for convenience. It seemed like Rectecs can get hot, so if it could do double duty for grilling that seems 85% as convenient as gas and worth it. But...

Here's my 4th of July brisket I did in my Kamado Joe. Was only able to find a flat, so went with that. 12 hours at 225(ish). Probably the best one I've done!

I second this. I went Ikea. I have one that's close to 10 years and old still going strong, if a little faded, at my in laws' house. It was around $100. Checking the site now they're a little different and they have some more expensive options but still one there at $99.

It's worth considering your electric rates. My peak electric rates start at 4pm so guess when my pump doesn't run! :)

I should have gotten more info. I asked him and he said it was salt based. I'm still cleaning it from the pool, you can see what looks like sand in the close up photo.

My 2 cents- get a speed stir. It's a big help in keeping your FC tests consistent and my readings were much improved after I started using one.

So far the one pool tile guy who called me back quoted $975 to $1075 depending on which media he ends up having to use :oops:. Wasn't expecting that! Trying to get more quotes
