Well the cartridge filter seems to be working better. Here’s the pool this am. I still can’t quite see the bottom. But using the broom as a gauge I can see down to the last foot or so.

Okay so I switched out to my old cartridge filter. I think it’s making a difference. My question is, the debris I'm washing off is brownish. Previously when I’ve had algae issues it’s been more green. Is this possibly mustard algae? Or just that it’s good and dead? I’m hoping for the latter...

Not at all certain. I keep vacuuming it as often as possible, and brushing it every day, but can't exactly see what I'm doing. I'm not seeing too many leaves anymore. Haven't since last week. But just not sure.

It's definitely an option. One I don't really want to do, as I've already filled it once this year. Last year it was similar to this, but the cartridge filter I had, got it clean in 2-3 days. If they get another cartridge filter pump in stock locally I may grab it and see what happens. Heck the...

Yeah it’s obvious. Haha. And other than skimmer the pool is completely empty. But I take out the skimmer and clean it regularly. Yesterday I felt like I could just start to make out the bottom of the pool. Not today.

Here’s some pics anyway. At least it might help me keep track. And fwiw I use the black hose found to the skimmer as a rough guide of how clear the pool is. And as of yet, I’ve not been able to see the bend. But I feel like yesterday I was getting close to seeing it. Today not so much.
