Ahhh so it is not about protecting the GEL coat but on to fund the pool stores. Sadly the pool surface warranty is tied to these numbers.

This is our first pool. We began using it in March. It is a black fiberglass pool that had a glitter explosion in the gel coat. Love the look, especially in bright sunlight and at night. During the day it has a Navy Blue color with light blue highlights as the sun shines into the water.
