This is the first winter but I don’t think there should be an issue. I’ll let you know in the spring. I did use a floating waterproof floor it sits on waterproof ply wood sub floor.

Hi Jimjim, I finished a small pool house room in shiplap. Lowe’s had pre stained broads in a color we were happy with. They are tongue and grove. Used white for the ceiling. Went up ez using a brad nailer. Been following your project. Awesome job!

Great choice. I’m sure you will be happy with the end results. We built in sept too. Waited until springtime do the pavers. Gave the ground a good time to settle and we were swimming in May. Best of luck with your build!

We went with concrete and liner. It’s built using special forms. Design choices and size are fully custom. Very happy with the decision. Plaster on Long Island is very expensive. We have a raised wall water feature which sits right on top of the concrete wall.

Very true. That’s why I like the idea of the speaker switch. Zones can be turned off at night and vol can be kept low. I agree on being considerate of the neighbors. Also have to consider guests. I hate going to a party and having to yell to have a conversation.

I have a similar plan. I like the idea of having multiple zones. You can keep the music at a nice background level without being too loud. I’m going with wall mounted on the house and tic In ground speakers around the pool. I’m using tic sub linked to two sub mini speakers. The plan is to hook...

Thanks guys! We are going to put a small changing room in and rest will be for storage. Nice thing is I can always remove the wall and use the whole shed as a pool house. I’ll post some more pics once it’s finished.

Re: Choosing new liner. Embossed liner option. My builder used it on my steps and bench. Prevents slipping. I’ve had no issues.

My builder cut/removed the tops and made custom covers. Looked like yours before the pavers were installed.

We have a 31 ft pool and went with a wedge. 4 to 6 beam. Over 31 ft the wedge works well. I would caution if you are planning on a slide or jumping rock that 6 feet is not very deep. It works for us and most adults can stand in 90% of the pool. My PB did make the first 3ft off the steps flat. I...
