    Where is my FC going?

Thank you, just put a gallon of 10% in. I’ll test again tomorrow. I’m curious, what is the issue with putting tabs in the skimmer?

    Where is my FC going?

Last week I tested my my FC and it was at 1.5, I raised my SWCG to 45% and I run my VSP 24 hours. This is the highest I’ve ever had the SWCG, it usually is between 25% and 35%. I just tested again and I’m still at 1.5 FC. CC is 0 and CYA is a little low at 60. We have had full sun the past week...

    SWCG No Flow Error

Cleaned the filter today and I am back down to 1400 rpms and the salt cell is detecting flow. Also had my electrician by on Saturday. He won’t touch the pool equipment but he’s putting a quote together to get me a new 100amp sub-panel with a whole house surge protector. I need the extra panel...

    SWCG No Flow Error

Thanks for the help! I’ll get some added to the panel. Will probably have someone put a whole house unit in while I’m at it.

    SWCG No Flow Error

Thanks, the dirty filter theory makes sense, we opened super early (April 3rd) this year so dealt with a lot of pollen and other things dropping into the pool. I’ll find some time to clean everything up and see if that resolves anything. Unless there is a surge protector built into my panel I...

    SWCG No Flow Error

Good morning everyone, I don’t think I these two things are related but mentioning them for completeness. We had some storms roll through Wednesday night and while we didn’t lose power the lights flickered a couple of times. We went out to swim Thursday afternoon and I noticed the pool was a...

MD - VA - PA - DE - DC - When are you opening?

Opened on April 3rd. Kids loved helping me by collecting all the brass collars around the safety cover. Water looked good and had it up and running and balanced in a few days (mostly waiting for salt to be delivered and it completely dissolved before firing up the salt cell). We had a warm...

    Liquid shock in Maryland

Pretty far out of your way but Clearwater always has some in stock. They just bought ABC Pools in white marsh if you ever find yourself north of Baltimore. I haven't been to that location yet as I am in Bel Air but it's supposed to be a bigger store than Bel Air. The Bel Air store always has a...

Treat rock bubbler water to stop horseflies

Thanks, sounds like Boric Acid Thanks, sounds like Borates might be a decent choice for the bubbler. Found an article online that states "Boric acid is practically non-toxic to birds." And it sounds like a lot of people actually add boric acid to bird baths. I'll keep it at the recommended...

iAqualink - Can't Connect To My WiFi Network

I'm struggling with this as well. I unplugged my other two access points and disabled 5G. When I went into the iaqualink setup, only one network was listed vs 3 when I did this the first time. It tried to connect for a few seconds than the Web light went out and I never got a notification on the...

Treat rock bubbler water to stop horseflies

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to open the pool next week and fixed up my rock bubbler this week. We had issues with horseflies last year and after doing some reading they like to lay eggs in wet rocky areas. I have a rock bubbler that recycles water from a hidden basin under some river rock...
