I have a chlorine pool, not SWG. I thought I could use softener salt for the Calcium. If that is wrong, what would you suggest I use? I added chlorine just after the tes tlast night. That was dangerously low! Thanks

I put my hose in the water for 2-3 days to fill the pool. It was not running the entire time, but nobody pulled it out when it was not running. Once I pulled the hose out of the pool, it came out looking like this. It appears to be calcium, but I didn't taste it. Any ideas why this would happen...
