I'm wondering if maybe I could fill this in with an epoxy, let it dry and then fiberglass over it to strengthen it. Like a big huge solid band aid?

Oh, its serious now. The previous owner used caulk and bondo to seal it. I sanded it all down and used Evercoat filler in the hopes that it would seal the crack and hold. That didn't work... I should have done more homework... As you can see, it's in the deep end at the base of a seat. I sanded...

I need some advice on how to repair this crack. I tried to fix it when during a little renovation we did to it. Came back with a vengeance after we filled it. I haven't done fiberglass on a pool. Race car bodies, yes. Not a pool.... please help.

Ok. Sounds good. I'll have to wait a few week.s to get the good test kit. This one was $28. I've been checking FC and TC and it hasn't changed at all. It's holding at or above 5. Thanks for the input!
