I checked my fairly new Intex cartridge filter, because we had enough rain to temporarily stop the skimmer from working. It was dark blue, with streaks of orange/amber. I tested for copper, but the test didn't show any present. What else can cause this?

I am very much a novice, and unfortunately 2020 was filled with the unexpected, including, for me, several unscrupulous contractors. Got me off to bad start with my little 14' ag. Hopefully this year will be better!
