Casa NewPort Skimmer Replacements - Aluminum Covers

My PB used Casa NewPort Skimmer lids. My wife really liked them. The salt did etch them though, so I primed and painted them. Looked real nice. Two years later, and I need to do it again, but trying to sand them down and such is a TON of work. Would rather buy new ones, but it seems these are...

    SolarCover - Blue/Clear and thickness

I just want to confirm as I am getting ready to purchase my solar cover. get the cheapest correct? I am looking at either the Sun2solar 1200 or 1600 series. the 1600 series is $60 bucks more and thicker (I believe 16mm) Also, is there any difference (besides looks) between the clear and blue...

Installing Heater - What parts do I need for plumbing?

Really? It says for all the sides except for front, we need 12 inches. I have that though? I believe on the versatemp, the control panel is in front, and the connections for pipe are in rear. I would expect if we installed it in the front on the empty pad, the control panel (front) would...

Installing Heater - What parts do I need for plumbing?

Poolstored, with the swapping of the filter and HP, I had one pool guy tell me they would swap, the other said he would not swap due to air flow. Wanted to see what you thought. Here are pictures of my pad and equipment on the side of the house. There is about 5ft between the fence and house...

Installing Heater - What parts do I need for plumbing?

Great article, thank you! So with the VersaTemp, I will just use a three way valve. From reading this, it should be automated (as manual can cause issues if there is no water flowing through it). So i will need the Jandy actuator and a 3 way diverter valve, correct?

Mismatch Brand equipment and Heat Pump - Automation

ajw22, so i am reading this as if I get a different brand other than Jandy, the automation can only control heat or cool, NOT both. that would mean I for sure need the jandy then as I want to control both.

Mismatch Brand equipment and Heat Pump - Automation

I have all Jandy equipment. I was told I dont have to get a Jandy HP, I can use whatever, but it wont work with the automation (but will turn it off and on). can someone explain that to me a bit please? For example, if I got a Raypak, what CAN'T I do with it, compared to the jandy versatemp...
