We just opened our new backyard pool in rural Victoria, Texas. After filling with well water and waiting a few days the water is an enjoyable 87 degrees.
Our pool is a free form shaped, in ground gunite construction. We have opted for WetEdge plaster, ceramic tile, travertine coping and Kool-deck.
Installed is Pentair equipment that includes; Intelliflo VSF pump, Boost-Rite cleaner pump, Clean and Clear plus filter and two manual valves and the IntelliCenter.
This will be a saltwater pool as soon as the plaster is fully cured. At that point the plumbing will be reconfigured to install the Pentair Intellichlor. Borates and Salt go in soon but until then we are using chorine pucks.
