I’m not sure what happened yesterday but it seems to be working fine today. The app is set to 85 and the heater shut off at 85.

Definitely a bad shaft seal and I am replacing it. I should have been more clear, What can/should I do to the body of the pump to clean it up and protect it from getting worse? Or just leave it?
