Re:Trying to close pool in North East..can't get pH down I'd really like to close this pool..seeing as snow is melting in it right now! so...I guess I should just ask if pH is ever going to be stable enough for me to close it! What happens if I close it and it is still high?

Ok..so I realize I am at risk for sounding like a total pool idiot but here goes...we wanted to close our pool in October- new pool IG pebblesheen...the pool company came out to close it and said we had to have our SWG turned off for at least a month prior to closing and that our chemicals...

Our pool is being plastered now and will be started up on Saturday. We used pebblesheen- do we still have to brush it everyday like reg plaster or will it ruin the pebbly sheen? I tried posting pictures of our pool plaster but I keep getting error messages...any advice on how to post a pic...

Great news for us...hole is in shelf and umbrella sleeve is on its way by tomorrow...plastering to take place Fri/Sat...Thanks for everyone's help!

Ok..so the pool company is coming out tomorrow to drill our gunnited shelf...is this just supposed to be a 'waterproofed' hole or should they be putting in some sort of insert with a cap? How deep is the hole supposed to be so that the umbrella doesn't tip over? Thanks..

Ok, so it's safe to assume that all umbrellas have the same diameter pole and will fit into the hole that is permanently in our top step?

Your aqua blue pool looks nothing like the aqua blue we saw...the two we saw were very artificial blue looking- yours looks very natural and pretty. Thanks for posting..although I am now possibly more confused :lol:

Thanks...yes, I've seen aqua blue..the base color doesn't go with our tile at all...the blue granite has too many black specks in it...so I might have to with slate blue..sight unseen! Scary!
