No, it's not connected to Aqualink at all, should it be? It is just on the wall mounted unit to control it. So right now I set it for 12hr run time with 80% generation. I believe that matches your rough math?

In spa mode it still runs through the SWG, basically main pool is bypassed.

Currently 7am to 6pm. I was considering changing to run longer, or would is be better to increase the generation %? We also sometimes run the spa mode, which basically stops the filter in the main pool for several hours a day.

Thanks Allen, I am trying to get this info now. It is actually the in-laws pool and trying to help them. SWCG is same age as the pool, roughly 5 years. Pool temp is around 82-87. SWCG is set for 60% right now. I will report back with more once I get it.

From the research I’ve done you just recharge the Battery a few times a year and the sensors can be replaced if needed. It’s meant to be a long term device and not disposable. Also curious if anyone can attest to it.

I've read pretty good reviews on this site about the Saltron mini, I currently use the bleach method but it can be hard to keep adding daily chlorine. I have a 500 Gal tub with ozone. Just curious on everyone's opinion, I've heard a few people mention how the salt can harm some equipment.

Got it, I understand. I have been checking my PH daily and even with the Liquid Chlorine my PH has been in range. I will keep a close watch on it!
