How do I test it with acid? I’m not sure it comes off.

I don’t. That’s the problem. I had a profile that showed my pool. 24000 gallons. In ground. Plaster. PH was at 8.0 I added half gallons of muriatic. Chlorine at 1. Have 4 gallons to put in. TA =90 CH=350 I can’t check the CYA. I’m out of the R-0013

Yes I can do that. I use liquid chlorine and Muriatic acid to balance PH. I was on top of chemicals since day 1. I don’t use any algaecides. Just weekly perfect once in a while. I am poor at using chlorine tablets though

Hey all. Haven’t been on here in a while. I have some major concerns with my pool. The plaster has got worse over the last year. With what I assume is calcium build up. Yet it is always on range. I don’t know what to do at this point. Pool is only 4 years old. Thoughts?

That’s what I got too. What should the difference be between my FC and CC when I retest? At by i added 164 ounces of chlorine. It brought my chlorine level to 3. Looks like I need to throw another gallon in tomorrow

I have my own test kit. But I am out of the r-0013 for the cya levels. So I took it to Leslie’s s. I checked my chlorine ahead of time and it was about 1. Thata what Leslie’s tested as well. I felt like when I tested my alkalinity I was closer to 60. Yet they said I’m at 45. I need to order...
