I followed the ascorbic acid treatment instruction & the ph overshot with 1/2 the recommended chemicals. It clearly states to add washing soda 1st. I asked how or if I should react to the overshoot of ph. I am having trouble finding the answer to that in your response.

Agree on the syringes. Extremely cheap & simple.

I use a 20ml syringe. Accurate graduations right on the syringe. I think I paid about $6 for a pack of 10 on amazon
