That's been my process for the last 2 years. Both surfaces touching the o-ring were basically spotless when I was troubleshooting. I actually have that exact same lubricant - magic lube II. I guess I'll see what happens when I get the new o-ring tomorrow.

Is there any way to buy just the container that holds the 2oz bottles? I need to get some more reagents and I'd like to switch from .75oz to the 2oz bottles as I need more. But I don't need a full set of new reagents.
