My pool is 4 years old. Initially they over acid washed it and made it dangerously rough so I had it drained and polished. Could this be the effect of possible over polishing certain areas? I first noticed a couple dark spots last year, but it has dramatically worsened over the winter.

Thank you I will do that. I was surprised today when I went out after he installed and he said it was the whisper. Home warranty said it was being replaced with the same pump. I do understand that my old pump is obsolete but should have been an intelliflo I think. Thanks for the help!

The pics were from March of 2020 when it was new.

The repairman said because it had 2” connections it was the only one that would work without changing the connections out. My pool is small and he said it would be fine for it. Is that not correct??

He tried tightening. He said when it’s leaking from this area it’s toast. Fortunately I have home warranty that covered the new pump and will cover this. My heater chiller went out at same time as pump and both smelled burned per 2 different repairmen. I’m wondering what happened to all of the...

Had a new whisperflo VST installed today because my intelliflo VST croaked. When we turned it on the salt cell started leaking a lot. Pool repairman says it’s not the switch but from the inside and needs replaced. Would pressure from the new pump cause this?

I had a whisperflo VST installed today to replace my intelliflo VST. We can’t figure out how to connect it to the intelliconnect. Please help!

That’s the kicker…warranty expired end of April. I do have a home warranty that should cover it, thank goodness. I finally found a repairman to come back and check it tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

That didn’t work. How can you test to see if it’s the keypad or the pump or both? I’m assuming the pump won’t run if the keypad is out.

We tested both and it is getting 240 at the pump as well. Keypad and pump still won’t come on.

Pool repairman came and dx bad communication cable. He told me to order this - 356904z and I haven’t been able to get ahold of him in over a week so my husband installed it. Keypad and pump still don’t work. I just disconnected the rs485 wires and the plug into pump and that didn’t work either...
