    High Electricity Consumption

Well, since the tech coming to my house and subsequent report he sent to LPI, Inc only resulted in LPI telling me to turn the temp down on my hot tub, I submitted a refund request to my credit card company.

    High Electricity Consumption

Welp, the spa tech must not have come through for me because here is the response from LPI to my BBB complaint: "The pictures that were provided to us from the customer do show the elected "extreme foam" upgrade, matching the invoice and production ticket. Additionally, we sent a foam kit to...

No, but he’ll be sending it in his report to the company…….he says

    High Electricity Consumption

Man I wish the inside of my hot tub looked like yours. Since it is rotomolded there is just not access like that. It’s a real rats nest and hard to get access. The spa tech arrives in 30 minutes…….we’ll see what he thinks soon. UPDATE: The tech left about 20 min ago. Not surprisingly there...

    High Electricity Consumption

Update: No reply from LPI, Inc (Aqua Living Factory Outlets) to my BBB complaint yet and no further communication from the company about sending a technician out to my house. This company is pretty underwhelming so far, and that's not surprising given the negative reviews you can find easily...

    High Electricity Consumption

Ugh, I just got some type of update on my "Service Request" from the company indicating they are sending a technician to my house. I can't imagine a technician is going to take all the insulation out that I stuffed in, and then try and spray foam all the voids. It's literally not possible at...

"That helps nobody but the BBB's sales pitch to businesses for membership fees." I was not aware working through the BBB was ill advised. Thanks for the tip. I'll be honest, I've never in my life disputed a charge with my credit card company for a product I actually received.

    High Electricity Consumption

I submitted a complaint to the BBB the other day. I'm definitely not pleased. In the complaint I selected "Replacement" as the desired resolution. But I don't have much faith that they won't deliver another one with missing Full Foam or other issues. So, we'll see how they respond to the BBB...

    High Electricity Consumption

Good idea. Actually this photo above is the corner I sprayed foam into the other day. It's not nearly as easy as I thought it would be. There's a reason it's supposed to be done at the factory during the build process. I have no idea if my attempt did much good. About 20 min ago I stuffed...

    High Electricity Consumption

Based on my thermal camera images, I should have left my fiberglass insulation in, rather than taking it out and spray foaming. My readings are worse now than with the fiberglass. Not terrible, but my fiberglass insulation stuffing insulated really well compared to my spray job.

Since it’s rotomolded cutting holes in the bottom of the hot tub is probably a bad idea. I might cut holes in the corners though.

    High Electricity Consumption

Yeah. If I had full access to the shell and cabinet and was building a hot tub from scratch it would be awesome. But I have to spray through a one inch gap into darkness with the hopes that I am hitting the shell of the hot tub into the void. I submitted a BBB complaint today for the parent...

    High Electricity Consumption

210 board feet is actually a lot of coverage, more than enough. Divide it by 2 to get 2 inches coverage and you have 105 board feet remaining. The problem is there just isn’t good access to the shell because it is rotomolded and also there is a layer of foam sprayed on the components in front of...

Here’s what I received. It’s legit, but man is it messy and a pain in the rear to apply.
