I have a Pentair Optiflow 1HP pump with a Sparco hi-rate sand filter on a 28' above ground doughboy. I have noticed lately I am having a hard time keeping a prime on the pump especially when vacuuming. I can only vacuum for about 2-3 minutes and the pump loses its prime and most all suction...

So having not had a pool like this before, what is "clear" or what should I expect? I should see the floor on the far side of the pool standing from the edge, as in 100% crystal clear? Just not sure what to expect :)

Ok, I assumed that was the answer on the CYA. 38 was relative in the sense that it was a touch over the 40 line, but well below the 30 on the cylinder. The other reading I had was "32" in the sense that it was a touch below the 30 line but well above the 40 line. So I was inferring the value...
