    Black algae ? Black algae can form into a hard material ? I will attempt to scrub it and see if it will go away. Besides scrubbing it, will I need to do anything after ?

    All the videos I’ve seen , say a mud base is needed before installing tiling. For example swimming pool Steve, wrote a blog about installing tile. His steps include acid washing, adding a bonding slurry, mud base, then thinset. Again, I am confused as to needing a mud base. the shell or...
