    IntelliCenter security best practices

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Does the passcode prevent them from doing anything?

    IntelliCenter security best practices

My pool is I'm a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I do not have major concerns, but I am still wondering what best practices are for IntelliCenter security. Should I set a passcode? Put a small padlock on the panel? Even though the likelihood is low, the last thing I want is someone...

Minimum speed for my IC60 to generate chlorine

Thanks. You bring up something I’ve observed: heat increases consumption. But it seems that the dogma here is that it’s sunlight, not heat. Granted, they’re often correlated, but is more chlorine consumed on sunny days in the 90s vs. sunny days in the 70s?

Minimum speed for my IC60 to generate chlorine

Ahh, that makes sense. Never thought of that.

Minimum speed for my IC60 to generate chlorine

SWG at 40%. Chlorine levels were rock solid with pump running at 1850 RPM 24/7. The initial 1750 RPM minimum speed and all subsequent minimum speeds determined by the green/red light on the IC60 while calibrating speed up and down. Yeah, cannot hurt to clean filter, but my filter pressure has...

Minimum speed for my IC60 to generate chlorine

I recently got a variable speed pump and found that a minimum speed of 1750 RPM was necessary to generate chlorine. So I set the pump at 1850 to run 24/7 (besides a few hours at higher speed to skim). Today, I went out and tested the pool, and my FC/TC was zero! Turns out that the flow was too...

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

Thank you so much. This makes sense. Everything is working as it should now in terms of pump speed/settings, schedule.

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

Also, settings for "auto adjust for DST" and "auto" clock source don't stick. I presume this is just the buggy nature of the software?

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

Will try that, thanks. At 8 am, the pump kicked back on as scheduled and went to 1850 after the prime. Interestingly, it primed for 5 minutes (pump default) rather than the 3 minutes I had set in the app.

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

OK, something isn't working. Pump is set on 1850 RPM from 8 am-7 pm and 8 pm-7 am and going up to 2500 RPM from 7-8 (AM & PM). Today at 7 am, instead of going to 2500, the pump turned off, but the app shows that the schedule is running. Screenshots below (main screen showing the schedule...

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

Thank you. Done. That was ridiculously complicated and unintuitive!

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

Realized that I hadn't updated my signature with updated equipment, so here is the new sig.

Scheduling SuperFlo VST speed with IntelliCenter

I finally got a variable-speed pump, the SuperFlo VST. My installer just added the communication cable today, and while I can adjust pump speed in the IntelliCenter app (the new Pentair Home one), it seemingly does not let me schedule pump speed! Scheduling in the app only allows me to designate...

    Doheny's Discovery, S200, Active20, Triton owners club

Also, I found the comparison page (https://marinapoolspaandpatio.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Robotic-Cleaner-Comparison-Sheet-2021.pdf) on Marina, but it doesn't include the Explorer and Nautilus CC models. Are these equivalent to the S200 like the Discovery, Active 20, and Prowler 920 are?

    Doheny's Discovery, S200, Active20, Triton owners club

Back in the market for a robot after a house fire (not able to use pool last summer, lost old Nautilus Plus in the fire). Is this still the one to get? Any recent purchase experiences? Many seem to be out of stock at Marina. Can someone summarize the filter modification they do, and how...
