    Polaris 3900 sport replacement

I have a 3900 on season 8. I have never done anything to it but change bags occasionally and tail sweeps. I take it out of the pool when non family members are over. My kids leave it alone. It’s what my builder “told me” I should use. So far, it’s been an absolute beast. YMMV.

    Pentair Intellibright 5G Failure

The factory pentair kit. The part number is in my first post. I had zero issues with the light for 6 seasons. Hopefully will have similar luck this go round. The sun seeker product is like $350 and I wasn’t sure it would be seamless. The pentair part was easy peasy.

    Pentair Intellibright 5G Failure

Figured I would close the loop. Parts arrived. Install was easy. For sure a simple DIY fix. We’ll see how long it lasts.

    Pentair Intellibright 5G Failure

Hello I have a 2016 Pentair Intellibright that has failed. Having done some reading, I guess I should be happy it has lasted this long... 2 questions 1) has anyone successfully used the Florida Sunseeker LED upgrade kit and had it integrate with a screen logic controller? 2) Am I correct in...

    Broken jandy valve actuator

To be clear, in the pic above, I have the actuator off. Seems to be fine. But I didn’t want to leave the house for 12 hours and come home a catastrophic failure.

    Broken jandy valve actuator

All, I have a broken valve actuator. It’s been broken for a while, in the sense that one of my kids fell on it and broke the handle off of the top. However, more recently, it has failed in that it will only turn one way. It’s on a three way T and it turns 180 degrees on the T. Currently, it...

    IC40 salt calibration

That seems like the simple solution before committing to the drainage.

    IC40 salt calibration

I think I’m doing the test correctly same way as always. I haven’t added salt since April when I opened. Yes the green light is flashing high salt.

    IC40 salt calibration

I have the easy touch automation. In the diagnostics for the chlorinated, it reads 7100ppm

    IC40 salt calibration

A few days ago, you fine folks helped me to change out my IC40 for a new one Today, I’m checking the monthly numbers... using a taylor k1766, which admittedly I have been using the same reagents since 2016, I get a salt level of 3600. My new cell is reading 7100. Is it time to buy new reagents...

    IC40 Failure?

Update. Flow switch was good. Cell was bad. Replaced it today. Back in business. At this point, I think I have 2 spare flow switches. Good times. Thanks again for the help.

    IC40 Failure?

Thanks for the quick responses. I have to. Elite the switch is good, and so is the one I took out probably... good to have spares I guess. But I’ll check when I get home. I have great flow.
