i just switched from liquidator and chlorine to a swg please share some info such as salt bags to use when opening pool,, is stabilizer needed as in chlorine pool.,.etc..thanks to all

the man that installed my hayward salt generator said to run it on shock 1 day a week. Is this necessary iof pool is clear,etc.??

just got a salt water generator and my pool man told me i did not need cya stabilizer!! is this correct

This is the first year I have tried manual chlorine dosing and need some advice------do you dose every day or can you double dose and skip a day?? I have been testing with dpd powder and dosing every day and was wondering if double dose and skip was safe

Due to health reasons the pool was not opened last year. When opened 3 weeks ago I used a deep net and removed what algea I could then started slam FC is at 24 and CYA at 60. The pool is slowly clearing. Chlorine checked 2 times daily now and brushed 2 times .A m I doing something wrong or just...

didnt get to open last season so now i got a good layer of sludge(algae)on my pool bottom. I'm using a deep leaf net to get it out. I have no cheap access to water to backwash a lot. i'm keep chlorine at the slam level. Will this eventually kill the crude in the deep end. I cant see the bottom...

finally got to open pool today. Every thing went smoothly until i tried to start pump. Filled it with water but it didnt pull from pool. I tried adding more water but no go. Ive tried everything I know and still pump wont prime up. Any ideas welcomed. pump is hayward max flo

Due to health reasons we were not able to open our in ground 18000 gal. pool last yearr. We have now got the go ahead to swim from the doctor. I have my numbers for opening yearly but it has been 2 seasons. Should I double my chlorine numbers or add withthe numberes suggested by the chart??
