Ok one last test and the powder has finished ! Added 12 lbs of chlorine at 6 pm and at 730 pm the FC was 2.5 and CC was 2.0 ! Before that the last test was at 1 pm and FC was 0.5 and CC was 1.0

Anyway my FAS DPD powder is almost finished as I have been testing a lot. It will take 2 weeks for the refill to arrive from Amazon!

We will be closing for 2 weeks for Xmas and new year and we plan to drain the pool then. Its an above ground pool if that helps. I need a plan of action for the next 4 weeks till we close! I think it’s lots of babies peeing so high urea in the pool...

My salt level is good. It’s aroune 4200 today. Not sure how the cells are connected. Put in 2 kg of chlorine at 545 pm (from pool calculator this will achieve shock level of 12). At 630 pm FC is 3.0 and CC is 2.0. Will put in another 1.5 kg now and test later tonight.

This will be an ongoing problem of CC building up rapidly and staying in the pool. Other than using UV what else can I do?

Ok tomorrow night I will stay back at my swim school to dose and test after the last swimmer and then test again in 30 minutes. From that result, what should I do next? Use the pool calculator to add more chlorine for shock level of 10?

I didn’t put any extra chlorine in since I last posted and the chlorine is only from SWG. Today children has red stinging eyes and when I tested FC was 2.0 and CC was 2.0.

Ok reading this morning, 16 hours after putting in 1.4 kg of chlorine is : FC 1.0 and CC 1.0. FC isn’t going up much.

Yes I have read all the articles numerous times already and have quite a clear understanding of it in theory. I will do what I can for now and you all have been of great help.
