Yes I do. I read somewhere that the air intake valve is for aeration and that the bubbles are supposed to be there. Is that true?

I can’t figure out why bubbles are coming from the jet, I see no leaks. I thought it had something to do with the skimmer (which I can’t figure out either) so I took it out and just put the strainer cap back on and I still have bubbles. I’m afraid this is bad for the pump. What else can I check?

The first time we put this together and put water in it. One of the corner joints was ready to come out so we followed the advice I had read on this forum and drained it so that we could make sure the legs were good. It looked like the legs on the pump side were straight up and down and sinking...
