The process of installing our Intex 26'x52" pool

Whatever happened with the electrical side of the install? I was reading along and then the story was dropped :( . Did it cost a lot to get the electrical up to code? I am jealous of your huge pool, my little 14x48 is not cutting it! I don't have a large space in my yard to go much bigger...

Help with easyset intex: wrong way ring

I think this one snuck past quality control. Didn't you notice the ring looked odd when you filled it with air? I wouldn't have filled the pool.

Landscaping around base of Intex Ultra Frame pools

This is what our pool set up looks like right now. It was originally for a 13x39 ring top pool that sat there for 5 seasons. My husband was laid off for a few weeks the summer of 08 and we invested $99 in the pool and some pavers :). This year we upgraded to a 14x48 Ultra Frame and it's kind...

New Intex pool owner, need some help

We bought a 14x48 Ultra Frame Intex this season. It has been up for almost 4 wks. We did not put foam under it. We put it on a space that our 13x39 ring top pool had sat for 5 seasons. Our ground is mostly clay. My husband leveled out the spot (last year the pool leaned a bit  )...

My Craigslist 18x34 Doughboy AGP build

Looks great! I also live on a corner lot and although my side yard is not considered a "front yard," we are also limited to what we can do in that area so we don't disrupt the "line" of the street, like I know we cannot make our garage wider. I did look into whether an inground pool could be...

Easiest way to chlorinate 10' Easy Set pool?

I can't disagree with you :) . I am headed to Walmart later to get a thermometer for the pool so I will get the ph testing kit too. It was just so easy to ignore the pool water chemistry since the pool never clouded up or got slimey or green! It sits in the shade, maybe that helped.

Easiest way to chlorinate 10' Easy Set pool?

I had a 13x39 easy set Intex pool for the last 5 yrs (finally tossed it last fall). The last two years all we did was use a floater with chorine tablets in it. I kept it full with about 10 tablets and the water was always clear. I didn't test the water's ph or anything. This year we have a...

Ladder Solutions for Pro Series/Intex Pools?

Definitely need to upgrade the ladder that came with our 14x18 Intex Ultra Frame pool. It is so unstable I don't want the kids to even use it besides quickly getting in and out of the pool! Haven't shopped around yet, I hope it isn't going to break the bank getting a better one.

What should I put around my pool base?

I would just fill in that huge gap with some pretty round rocks (I don't know how they would damage the pool?) or some mulch. Are you planning on leaving the pool up year round or do you have to take it down in the fall? That would help determine what kind of filler you put around it. You...

    Intex Ultra 18' New Installation

We just put up our 14 x 48 Intex Ultra Frame yesterday and began filling it. Now we are looking for some type of heater because we also live in Michigan  . How did you decide which solar heater to go with? We were thinking the 2 X 10 feet double panels on the roof may be the kind to...
