Thanks Rocket. I got it working again by taking one of those interdental brushes (TePe, like a little pipe cleaner)), spraying a little WD40 on the brush, then working it around in the keyhole.

I've never had to SLAM (pool was built in 2011). I've done TFPC since the start. I don't close the pool for the winter, and I try to use rain water to keep the CH under control (the California drought is making this a bit difficult). Thanks TFP for showing me how to do it!

The Heliocol website has a dealer locator you can use. I have used my local dealer for a repair, and I found them to be quite reasonable. My opinion is, if you don't feel comfortable getting up on the roof for a repair, then hire the job out to a pro. But, I'm sure that you could do it safely...

Understood. I'm on my second Rule pump, the first one having died after about 3 years. I'll be watching this thread, because I'm sure I'll need something in a year or two, and the Rule may not be available then.
