Yeah I read both of those posts. Though the same brand, it appears to be different. This is not the outdoor variation. I do not see anything on the label that those other posts mention.

Thank you for your reply! I went searching and found the diverted valve, which was actually in the water, as an outlet. All is working great. I’ve order some Ahh Some and am going to do the TFP method on this hot tub as well.

I have rapidly reach the limits of my competence. I’m a new pool and hot tub owner (both came with the house I purchased in April). I have not touched the hot tub until the last several days. The previous owner said something was wrong with some of the jets but didn’t know and didn’t want to fix...

What do you clean it with?

Also, if I get the CYA to %70 what should I be running the sanitation level at? The previous own said the pool is 35,000 gallons. But I have not verified.

I’m not sure about the maintenance that was done on the system. I get the impression is was not much. I definitely want to get as much life out of the equipment as possible.

Gotcha. The pool company that build the pool “installed” the cell the way it was. I may have to have them come out to reevaluate it.

I wonder then what happened? He had the cell set to 60%.

Thank you both for the quick responses yesterday. Jim I do believe your gut feeling was right. I got the salt level where it needed to be and acid cleaned the cell and no good still. I did learn that the previous own left the pool running 24hr a day, 7 days a week, all year. In Texas that mean...
