I am having the same problem. I have an Intex pool with the sand filter. If I set it to filter, I can barely feel it sucking in water. If I set it to neutral or recirculate, it has great sucking power. Because of this problem, I am sure this is causing some of the algae problem I am having.

Hello, I have been getting algae in my pool just about every other day. I vacuum it, clean it and shock it. Nothing I am doing makes a different. Occasionally, the algae will clear up but my water will be cloudy. My ph always says it is in range.
