Not sure what you mean by timer. We do have a schedule for cleaner, which is from 1pm to 6pm. But currently the pump problem is it's on for a min and off for 5 mins, and on again.... we've changed a new pump. but seems the new pump still has the same problem, but this time it's on for 10mins...

no the pump is not on timer. The pump sound normal when it's running. Also this morning I found some leak under the booster pump - don't know what's this again... Before we found the booster pump problem, we just had someone cleaned the filter.

When I turn on the booster pump, it's on for a min or so, and then it's off. After a few mins, it's on again for a min, and off again. The pool was built in 2009 so it shouldn't be worn out this fast. The Polaris 280 cleaner doesn't work at the same time - it's floating and not moving at all...
