Honestly not sure, when I pulled it out and turned it on, only one of the gears moved, and although it keeps accurate time, it won’t start or shut off. I have to turn on manually. I checked the clips and they’re both in fine condition. Honestly not sure. Was thinking of just replacing whole thing

"Check system" red light still on, and still says "add salt" (now 107 pounds). But I've had my water tested and everything is in normal range. Not sure what else to do or what the problem could be. Thoughts? Suggestions? TIA

Cleaned the cells, it was very easy to do so. They were very clean, probably didn't need cleaning. I have an Autopilot, only 16 months old.

Thank you for the quick responses. I took a sample to a local pool store to get a reading and everything looks good, all the numbers were fine, my salt was 3100. So I'm going to try cleaning the cells in the SWG and see if that works. First time trying this so wish me luck.

Chemicals were all good Sunday. Salt was approx 3100. Then suddenly yesterday my SWG said to add 147 pounds of salt. I added 80 this morning but it still says to add 107 pounds. Something doesn't seem right, can't see how it goes from fine to completely out of whack. Had some rain, nothing...

Thank you everyone for the help. I actually didn't do anything yet but when I checked today everything seems to be running fine. Light & msg no longer blinking. Chlorine levels appear to be going up. So I'll keep an eye on it. Gonna add bleach anyway to give it a boost. Strange.

This is my first pool opening as last summer my pool installer did everything so everything worked great. This summer not so smooth. My SWG is reading "Error purify off, check flow". I checked the troubleshoot guide and it says to check connections, empty skimmer baskets, etc, and everything...

Yes both skimmers & MD. Tried open ring both, shutting 1, etc. Nothing worked. Stumped. Don't think there's an obstruction

Thank you for the quick response! Yes I shut down the filter before turning the valve and the water is still to almost to top of skimmer, so it's plenty high.

Ok, bleach has been added, as well as the conditioner. When should I retest again? And Robbie thank you for clarifying about the conditioner not going in the skimmer, I know I read to do that somewhere and that's where I originally put it. Also not sure why my signature is not showing up...
