You were. Close. This is why I rotated the lid 180. Leak was in the same place. About a 6" crack right near the top over where the band goes.

Update all...lower housing is cracked. Can't believe I didn't see it earlier. Once I took the grids out and wiped the area down...plain as day. So...having new filter put in. 13 years...she had a good run I guess..

It leaks mainly on the same side, but also a little in other places like right by the clamp bolt. Also…I turned the lid around 180 and it still leaks primarily from the same spot. And I can crank the band clamp all the way closed to there the nut doesn’t turn anymore. It’s like the clamp...

Ok…so my filter is leaking bad at clamp o-ring (invent even run the filter it’s so bad) It’s really weird. I ordered a new o-ring, but in the past, when you put the top on, it more or less rests on the o-ring. Then you clamp down on it. Not so now. It’s like the filter got bigger (impossible) or...

Not sure where else to look. I am still losing my prime every AM.

OK so all leaks have been fixed except one. I still have a small leak apparently in the seal plate or plate gasket on the pump. It will be fine for a couple days and then one AM it will not prime. The daily schedule is for the vacuum to run first so pump starts at a higher speed for one hour...

Fixed all the leaks except one. Still leaking most likely out of the seal plate or gasket.

Thanks man. I should have specified...filter basket on the pump :) Looks like I'll need to saw the pipe, pull that out and replace the plumbing. Fun!!

Hey all, I have an air leak in my filtration system. I believe it's on the suction side and I can't find it. It's so bad I need to prime it in the AM with the hose to fill the pipe back up from the filter basket to get it to run. After that it will run all day. But the next AM it will just...
