My first pool SLAM is almost done. What next?

I have more data to report from today. CYA is 30 I was checking every 6 days roughly- SLAM level was a higher (20) number - FC is 13.5 (SLAM level is now at 12) CC is .5 I like this trend. My pool app gave me the new SLAM level automatically. I can do the overnight test now? I...

My first pool SLAM is almost done. What next?

These are good points about the strength of my chlorine. I am hanging in and I just grab a popsicle when I go back out in the heat to re check my FC level. I will keep track of all 3 exit criteria.

My first pool SLAM is almost done. What next?

I printed my instructions and everything. Waaaah You mean I do not have to wait 2 hours between adding chlorine to the pool? I am understanding this a whole different way. This is missing from the SLAM video. Thank you proavia and thank you Texas Splash. My recent reading for FC was 17.5...

My first pool SLAM is almost done. What next?

Perhaps you misunderstood. You should be at the SLAM FC level now. Not "build-up" to it. You need to "maintain" that elevated FC level of 20 for the SLAM to work properly. I realize my numbers did not yet reach 20ppm (SLAM level) . I am following the App instructions on how much chlorine to...

    Taking charge of my pool

. Here is my link for Intex sand filter pump (and saltwater) pool chlorine systems how to instructional video! For operation of the timer go to 15:20. I hope it helps someone else too. My filter is now running nonstop and is not on the timer for the SLAM process. This sounds like an expert DIY...

    Taking charge of my pool

My ladder is in the pool. Next, it has been halfway in the pool so Robot Vacuum and the brush can access under ladder. I was thinking ladder would get dirty outside pool . Do I remove it?

    Taking charge of my pool

I want to have patience but could use some encouragement! I have not swum (sp?) in my pool all of June! Here are pics for comparison and the color is moving to blue and clarity is improving every other day. I only reached SLAM level twice and my levels go up and down..see below: june 11 all...

    Taking charge of my pool

So many set backs already. Okay, I will not do the Flocc, I put my trust in the process. Do you think my little robot with cotton balls will clear things well? Likely I am vacuuming just once per day on my own. How do my numbers look? Thanks for the reply Bperry and ajw22.

    Taking charge of my pool

It is me again on Week 2 of Taking Charge of my Pool opening. Week 1 resulted in very poor filtering, non working skimmer. We put new sand in filter, cleaned it out and All is working very well. I had to stop my vacuuming 4 days ago and this is my dilemma. Recent FC and CYA levels from June 10...
