Leak from light conduit. (Junction box is 12” higher)

Thanks for the video link. That’s the exact one I watch yesterday. Need to buy the tool. I’m guessing the rubber seal on the light tube was expanded far enough previously. Doubt the conduit was “air tight” but I’m guessing it was tight enough with very little water coming though. Still trying...

Leak from light conduit. (Junction box is 12” higher)

Well, here is the latest. I wanted to identify if this problem light was from the spa or pool. I turned all the power off and disconnect one of the wires that was coming out of the conduit that was overflowing. Turned power back on and sure enough, it was coming from the one of the spa lights...

Ya I am doing that today. Havent heard back from them yet. They were in business for 5+ years when we built with them. Not 100% sure if they are still in business.

Good idea. I’m going to disconnect that wire from the wire nut to see if I can tell what light fixture it is coming from. As for the rust, yes there is some rust there. Not severe, but noticeable. Never seemed to be an issue over the last 3 years. Pool was completed in spring of 2022.

Thanks for the reply’s. Here are a few other pictures. I’d say the junction box is slightly higher with the spa water level. Hard to judge since they are so far away.

Notice a small trickle of water today coming from the pool light junction box today. Looks like I’ve already lost a few inches of water over the past few days. The junction box is 14-18” above the pool level. Trying to figure out why/how this happened and what I can do to stop it. Searched...

Thanks for the feedback. Might visit with my pool builder about a potential claim and get their thoughts.

    Discolored sections on pool floor

Curious to see what y’all’s thought are on my situation. I have noticed a few areas within my pool that are a different color/shade. Below are a few pictures I took today in DFW on an overcast day. Also, below is my latest levels. At one point, I had my pH closer to 7.4 when our temps began...

Heavy dust on bottom of pool. OCLT was good. Should I SLAM?

Ya, good point. Honestly, my main issue for doing it at night was to reduce daytime run time and heatig up the pool. Then that continued on into the winter to reduce freezing issues in Dec-Feb. Might be worth running it for a few hours during mid day. As for CYA, I think I added enough to get...

Heavy dust on bottom of pool. OCLT was good. Should I SLAM?

Pump run time: 4am-9am: 5 hours. Prefer to run at night to help keep the pool cooler in summer months. 5pm-7pm: 2 hours. 7 hours total. SWG good catch, not sure why I had that one linked in my signature. Mine is TCELL940. For 40k gal pools As of last Friday.... FC = 5 CC pH = 7.4 TA = 60 CH...
