Can I get some input on pump/system recommendations?

Do you have any input on the filter pressures? What could be causing it to be high? Skimmers are clean, filter is clean, basket at the pump is clean.

Can I get some input on pump/system recommendations?

Good to know about the SVRS, thank you. I have a Pentair NSF-50 filter P/N 160301 with four 26" x 7" cartridge filters that I got on Amazon. I just cleaned them this past week. I never even considered a bypass for the heater when I installed it but that's a good idea to add once I redo some...

Brand new pool, calcium build up on tiles

Man...that sucks. Sounds like my most realistic option is just to get out there and make sure I scrub the tiles and grout every few days for the life of the pool to keep it from getting out of hand then, is that correct? I really appreciate everyone's input!

Can I get some input on pump/system recommendations?

I've been thinking of making some upgrades to my pool setup to a better/more efficient pump and potentially something more automated. I'm sorry if this is long, I'm trying to provide all the information I've seen others ask for. I have an approximately 27,000-gallon pool (was told it was 35k...

Brand new pool, calcium build up on tiles

Thank you all for all of your input! For the grout missing below the big rectangle tile, that tile is just lying against that step. It was broken out and the concrete aggregate decking will be covered with spray deck soon and I'm taking all the tiles out like that one that you see around the...

Brand new pool, calcium build up on tiles

Hello all! I just had my plaster done and have stonescape pebble with new tile. My old tiles had a lot of calcium build up and now on these brand new ones it's already back. The pool was filled with water and the startup chemicals on May 20th. 2 weeks later I already have quite a bit of build...

    Tropics blue stonescapes

I'm also in Houston and I think I've settled on Stonescapes Tropics Blue Mini...I haven't seen it in person nor any of the others so it's a blind pick. I'm just going off pictures I've seen online and hoping for the best 😂

First post: Just finished Ascorbic Acid wash (didn't work) and new to chemical testing

Done. I added the acid last night and then the 5 gallons to get my FC back up to shock level. I was still at SLAM level this morning but I didn't bother checking it after adding the chlorine last night. I'll do the OCLT tonight. Hopefully scrubbing more from inside the pool and another...

First post: Just finished Ascorbic Acid wash (didn't work) and new to chemical testing

Okay so I got in the pool today and took out the lights and scrubbed behind them and went in there w/ a small toothbrush-like brush and hit every green spot I could find. The regular brush doesn't get them apparently. It was slightly green spots in the porous rough parts of the plaster so I...
