    Adding SWG to existing setup

Finished the install last night without any issues. Added 680 pounds of salt, and have the pump running. Will check on it shortly and see if the system is detecting salt and then turn the SWG on. Not sure what is in the EZ Pool, but he had been using allot of pucks! Even after the winter...

    Adding SWG to existing setup

He went with the AquaRite T Cell15. We got the plumbing done yesterday and are planning to finish up the wiring this afternoon. I didn't snap pictures and didn't spend allot of time looking at the electric setup... so going from memory. There is a Hayward 1HP superpump connected to a t104r...

    Adding SWG to existing setup

Thanks for the input guys. At first, I thought he was wanting a system just like mine (minus the Inteliflo vs pump), but after further discussion he is more interested in just the SWQ portion. Having said that, it seems like the AquaRite with the T-Cell-15 is the method we will take. He does...

    Vision Grills

They are excellent cookers for their price point. I am also a member of another forum that is a wealth of information. They have a section just for Vision (and all other Ceramics). kamadoguru.com I have two Kamado Joes that we purchased at a Costco Roadshow event, and love them!

    Adding SWG to existing setup

I am trying to help a friend convert his pool over to a SWG setup. He seems to like what I have (Hayward Goldline), but we are curious how it will work out with his Hayward Superpump. He is currently using all Hayward equipment, and turning the pump off / on with a mechanical timer. His...

    New Pool in NC...

Zougro My apologies for a delayed response. I will check the name of the liner this evening and get back with you. I will also see if I can find some recent pictures. It does still look great, but as mentioned, I think it shows dirt on the bottom a little more than a darker liner. That could...

    New Pool in NC...

Thanks Glock. My wife was the driving force behind the lattice walls. I was OK with single lattice, but she thought it would look funny because the "Old Dutch" brick is not finished on one side. The difference in the front and back side is not major, but she wanted double lattice to show a...

    New Pool in NC...

Putting the cover on the pool today, and closing another great season. I never found the time to do the electrical in the Cabana, but that could make a good winter project. I will update once I get moving on it.

    discolored/stained steps?

I spot treated my steps, returns, light niche, and drains. I put a emptied a bottle of vitamin c tablets in a panty hose, got the snorkel out and went to work. Took about 30 minutes and all looked as good as new. We did not have any staining anywhere else, so the spot treatment made sense to me.

    Adding CYA....

Hopefully this is a simple question... I always see the recommendation of hanging CYA in a sock in front of a return and letting it dissolve. I did that the first time (this is our third summer with the pool). However, when I have added it since then, I always put it in a sock and hold it in...

    New Pool in NC...

Finished up the framing today, along with the shingles.... Vinyl tomorrow followed by the brick gables. We will then add a 4' brick lattice wall on the "cabana" and tie the fence into the front columns (at least that is the plan for now).

    New Pool in NC...

More progress today. The roof trusses are in place, and the roof will be finished tomorrow. Then the vinyl soffits and cathedral ceilings will be done, followed by the brick gables. If weather permits, it might be done by Friday, and then I will have to finish the fence and add some more...

    Outdoor Remote

What kind of phone do you have? It may be a less expensive and easier alternative to use you phone with a waterproof case. I have a lifeproof on my iPhone 4S (old phone) and 5S. They both work well.... I even take them off the diving board!
