    Dual Brush Attachment

Anyone know if there is such an animal as a dual brush attachment? I'm wanting to put two brushes on one pole (side-by-side to make one wide brush) to speed up pool brushing on the walls and floor.

    Patching Gunite pool.

I have a Gunite pool with some plaster separation in several places. One spot cracked open completely when I stepped on it. I chipped away the loose plaster with my hand to reveal about 5" diameter circle where the concrete is exposed. There may be 5 or 6 other places like this on the floor of...

My pool is NOT trouble free

I hear ya.....its just more than I expected for "trouble free." But I also realize this is a learning process. I'll get it eventually. Thanks for the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My pool is NOT trouble free

    Oh...I forgot to log that I added about 30 oz of stabilizer yesterday 9/9/16. And I just checked FC and CC again - 3 hours later. WOW!!! Hammer Time!!! FC - 26 CC - 1 - - - Updated - - - TF-100

My pool is NOT trouble free

I've been fighting algee for almost a week and making little progress. My guess is I'm not keeping the FC high enough for a long enough period. But seriously...this was supposed to be "trouble free" but it is not. I've added 11 jugs of liquid 6% chlorine over the past week. I'm at a loss and...

Still trying to get this right - I'v got some green

I am doing all the testing indoors. I take a large sample from an arms length depth. Then use that large sample divided into 10ml, 10ml, and 25ml tubes as well as the CYA test procedure. I'll admit the CYA has been a little uncertain in my mind. I stand in the kitchen with all the lights on...

Still trying to get this right - I'v got some green

Today the pool looks the same if not slightly greener than yesterday. Yesterday I added 240 oz of liquid 6% Cl. Today after testing (see updates test results below) I added another 120 oz of liquid 6% Cl. I also put a BioGuard Silk stick (just 1) in the skimmer. My reasoning is to help...

Do you do the full test everyday or just chlorine and pH?

Still trying to get this right - I'v got some green

I'm thinking that I am not keeping my FC at a high enough level consistently. My pool keeps bouncing from clear to a tinge of green back to clear and back to a tinge of green. I've been adding liquid bleach about a gallon every 2-3 days. I also notice that my CYA is dropping which will make my...

    What to keep in stock

Isaac-1, tell me more about this metering pump. Does it control chlorine added to the pool (like a little at a time to maintain a level)? I'd like to know more about it, how it works, how durable it is if it is handling chlorine, how much it costs, where to get one, etc. Sent from my iPhone...

    What to keep in stock

For my pool. I haven't decided if I want to use the TFP method for pools I service. I've got to get my pool running smoothly first before I venture to use TFP on some else's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What to keep in stock

Using the TFP way, what chemicals do you recommend keeping in stock? And his much of each? I have a 20,000 gal pool in Texas. In the past (Pool Store way) I always kept tabs, Algecide, and shock (burnout 73) on hand. Sometime a BioGuard balance pack.

    Liquid Chlorine Only Question

Thanks everyone. Some of your comments about "dumping the pool every six months and start over" are seeming real to me now. I'm one year in to owning my pool and my latest test using TF-100 says to replace half the water due to the CH and CYA readings. Sounds like I'm experiencing what you...
