    Based on the pictures and assuming you purchased the outflow type cleaner, you should be able to unthread the directional discharge nozzle and attach the new cleaner in its place. As noted at length, the new hoses on the cleaner appear to leak, but this is normal.

    As a retired electric motor repair person, I would advise replacement of the pump motor versus repair. Rates for motor repair in our area are probably at about $85 an hour.
