    Circupool RJ60+ not powering on

Bought a brand new RJ60+ swg. It ran fine the first week, then powered off. I had verified the voltage via my intermatic timer label and voltimeter. The jumper was configured correctly in original stock location. Put it back and it ran fine. A week later, it powered off again. Took the backing...

JJ - Like you said in your questions, there is no way (simple fast answer) way for someone to tell you a ballpark percentage. It may take someone willing to buy multiple robots and set up control vs multiple tests to give you the answer you are looking for. At the end of the day, you'd have to...

Possibly Converting to Salt--ARE THE MONTHLY CHEMICAL SAVINGS REALLY THERE??

I asked this question recently before converting. I too was spending close to what you are, if not more. After calculating it out, SWG was cheaper for me after a 7 year cycle. I went with a RJ60+ that has a 7 year warranty. Assuming I take care of it and run it at 55%, I'm hoping it will last...

Cheapest and Best Salt To Buy?

After shopping around, I personally bought the diamond crystals. Bought 10 bags at a time for bulk pricing.

Although this forum is great at fixing problems - it's also nice to know you're not alone in failures and mistakes :) thanks TFP family!

65 CYA used up in 1 week - Help

Yep... User error. Wife used the chlorine titration solution. I have a theory that this is her ploy to remove herself from pool chemicals testing duties... Sorry for the false alarm.

65 CYA used up in 1 week - Help

Recently converted to SWG and had my water balanced. Asked my wife to check the chemical levels this morning as I went to work. Test results using Taylor Kit: Water Temp :87 FC - 5 PPM ( i am still calibrating my swg %) PH - 8 (had guests this week - will need to lower with MA) CH - 375 TA -...

S300i /A30i Has warranty that is more extensive as well (bumper to bumper). Longer cleaning cycle - good for larger pools. Marina has great prices, but I found their knowledge a little lacking on the products. Luckily this thread helped me be well informed. Either way, you can't go wrong with...

I also got an email confirmation that my a30i rebate was approved. I just applied for a rebate of my sister's s300 that I just bought on her behalf. I'm confident that'll be approved too.

    Crazy Salt readings

I did that the first time I tested my pool too. Seems unnecessary to have added the "25ml", but I also admit user error/skimming too fast.

I actually taped a note next to my door for the FedEx courier with my tracking number providing consent for them to leave at my door and signed it. I have 2 security cameras mounted and a planter box that hides it from the street so I felt safe enough to have a $900 box sitting there. I also...

Order of adding chemicals (salt) in new conversation

Thanks to all of your help and input, we decided to pull the trigger on a SW conversation and are the proud new owners of a Circupool RJ60+. I found the thread on water balance and per the manufacturer, I should target 3500ppm of salt. Picked some diamond salt crystal softener at HD ($5.10 bulk...

Congrats! I just ordered a S300 from Marina today for my sister. She was sold after seeing my A30i that I just got last week. Don't forget to apply the rebate code when you register your robot. Fingers crossed that it will work as some has reported.

Polaris 280 wheels stop moving at steps

I had a 280(also inherited when we bought our house). It was never stuck once it hit the steps. The pressure from the swinging 'tail' usually kept it going. Didn't go up the 90 degree incline.
