    Phosphates Problem?

Thanks everyone for your replies and advice. I do believe my salt level is good because I get a low salt light on my unit when it is low. My FC to CYA ratio is good so I will not worry about the phosphates at this time. I will purchase recommended salt and phosphate test kits in the future.

    SWG output questions

Ok I will try that and see what happens over the next week. The reason I am concerned is that the warranty on my system runs out in a few months and if the system is malfunctioning i want to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. Thanks!

    SWG output questions

The pump is set to run 12 hours. A 50% run time according to pool math should be sufficient to offset the 2-3 ppm of FC loss I get in the hot summer months. Could it be whatever regulates the flow of votage to the cell is malfunctioning? PS: the model is actually a J-SS40 and is a 40K system.

    Pool Light Repair

I put light back in pool without taking a picture of it but I did take pictures of the labels on it which is why I think the light is a Jandy, The label says to use 8 replacment bulbs with a Jandy P/N of RO399600. Also says to replace gasket with P/N R0399800.

    Contamination in pool

So they product that Leslie's is selling is called Clear Aide and is supposed to help remove pollen and algae from a pool. There are no ingredients listed on the bottle. I ask the attendant and they said it was enzymes in it and they would not gum up the filter but in fact help to clean the...

    Contamination in pool

I ran OCLT and it was less than o.5. My hot daylight loss is around 2-3 and I been able to keep the pool around 5 FC with a lower setting on my SWG so I do not think it is Algae. The rest of my area around the pool has tree pollen on the ground. My numbers are FC 5.0 Ph 7.6 TA 170 CA 80 Need...

    Contamination in pool

My pool is balanced and pretty clean as I can see the drains in the bottom of deep clearly however there is a very light layer of a gold color contaminate on the bottom of the pool. I belive it to be pollen from a Large tree near the pool. I tried everything I could think of to remove such as...
