definitely cut I have freeform pool shape and couldnt use reel either. My pool 40 by 24 at widest. I cut it approximately in half but did it with about and 18" overlap , otherwise you will wind up with a gap in between. Much easier to handle and if you dont need the full pool at the time you can...
