    Replacement cell for Pureline

Will A generic Hayward T-15 cell work on a Pureline? I have their 40,000 gallon cell, but it's called an F-15, and I see they (pureline) make one specifically for a Hayward, but it has a different part number, so I don't know if they are interchangeable. Thanks.

    Algae with solar cover on

Definitely green algae on a lot of the bottom (shallow and deep). All my returns are pointed up, for circulation, Maybe I'll try pointing them down with cover on. But I would think the main drain would pull enough water, to keep the chlorine homogenous.

    Algae with solar cover on

I been using the TFP method for 6 years and have never had a problem. But it's been getting cooler here, and my pool has been covered most of the week. So, the past 2 weeks when I take the cover off I've had a layer of algae on the bottom. I still tested it every other day or so with the...

    Which ladder anchors?

I am cutting out the old ones and putting in new. I'll probably cut the concrete anchor to anchor, 6-8'' wide.

    Which ladder anchors?

I HAVE to replace deteriorated ladder anchors this year. I bought a new saftron ladder last season, and almost couldn't get it out of the corroding aluminum anchors. So what is best, Saftron anchors, or Brass? Thanks

    Corroding ladder / rail anchors.

Thanks, when the time comes, I'll probably cut the concrete with a demo saw, and make a hole big enough to work in. I don't feel like getting involved right now. LOL. HERE is what the anode looks like. I can't show it 'cause its buried about about 3'deep. I used to work for the gas...

    Corroding ladder / rail anchors.

I'm not ready to replace the anchors just yet, that's why I was wondering if anti seize would work. I'm surprised it's corroding like that, I have a 17# mag. anode on the system. Also, If i cut the bonding wire, wouldn't that break the whole "circuit" ?

    Corroding ladder / rail anchors.

The anchors for my rails and ladder seem to be corroding and it looks like they are aluminum. Also, I destroyed one of the hand rails removing it last year, and need to replace it. My question is, is there anything I can do to stop it from corroding, and can I use something like anti seize on...

Calcium in a SWG- Vinyl pool

Do I need to worry about CSI with a vinyl liner and SWG? My water has almost no calcium, (30ppm), which gives me a csi of -1.45 according to poolmath. I actually never checked the csi because it's vinyl, but I was looking at the recommended levels for the swg, and saw there was a value for it...
