Thanks! Yes, we went in yesterday. No idea what the temperature was, but it was perfect! Gotta love AZ and swimming in October! Start-up is tomorrow and pool orientation this coming Saturday.

Time to update the thread. While we waited for more work to be done by the PB, we tackled the landscaping. I rented a trencher and spent the better part of a weekend doing the irrigation system. Changed out the 4 zone controller to a 6 zone controller, built a valve manifold, wired everything...

Thanks everyone! The tile does look really cool in the horizontal position on the table. There are some leftovers that we're going to see if the plaster company will set on the steps. Pre-plaster inspection with the city is set for Friday. Getting so close now :)

Time for some bling! Water line and table top tile got installed today. I got home from work after the sun was already going down, but got to see tons of different shades from different angles. We love how it came out and think this tile really makes the pool extraordinary! Can't wait to see...

They paint the pipes as part of their standard practice. It's very common here in AZ with all the pool builders.

Finally had shotcrete done today! We initially didn't get cleared on the pre-shotcrete inspection because the plumbing wasn't holding pressure. So that got fixed on the 25th, then the city came back out for inspection on the 26th. Shotcrete was then pushed to Monday the 29th. We were super...

What a coincidence, we chose the same waterline tile! I'm sure once they are cleaned up the metallic streaks will really pop. Looking good so far!

8/22/16 Update Emailed PB regarding the missing steel on the 5 bar bond beam at 7:20AM. Site supervisor showed up at 7:45AM as I was leaving for work and confirmed that the bond beam was not complete. They've rescheduled the steel guys to come back out tomorrow to complete the work. This begs...

I'd say this is more like a light mocha color. We opted for this one since it was smoother and a lot less porous than the level 1 travertine selections they had. I'm sure this honed finish will be more slippery, but the more porous ones get so dirty looking after awhile and change appearance...
