No I haven't yet. I guess I'll try that Monday. I was under the impression after reading several comments and posts on different sites that they would give you the run around if the installer wasn't a "licensed professional". I'll give them a shot.

I failed to mention that in the original post, but I did remove the cell and inspect it. It had no visible scale build up at all. I did clean it and removed the temp/flow sensor to inspect it as well and found no scale or damage at all.

To change the setting you need to hold the "less" button on the IC40 itself for three seconds. Then use the less or more buttons to change it. I don't think there's a setting on the EasyTouch to change it. Up to you on whether or not you want to change it. When I installed mine, I changed it...
